Another server load

I finished installing and configuring ffmpeg, mplayer and ffmpeg-php after 2 days of massive research and trial-errors.

other improvements in the server:

- I wrote my first PERL script about interfacing my DSL modem (tru telnet, sorry hackers, I secured my firewall so that the port will not leak outside my network .hahaha) ability to disconnect my dsl modem connection at certain time(time is secret).

-checked and clean unnecessary configurations, files, bootup scripts and caches to speedup the server by 0.0000000000001%. :)

-perform my ritual full hardrive backup after adding two more hosted websites.

Done.

After a massive time consuming trial-errors on Iptables and Shorewall Firewall configuration, Its done. Mail sometimes experiencing problems was fixed by My discovery in SMTP reverse-DNS routing (which I had to create Cron scripts together with the dynamic auto update I made).

The server is now 100% operational to all of its required functions and ready to host some more sites. lol :)

The Final Stretch

At last!, almost after 6 months of hard work and study the server was now 100% fully operational!

The email server was up and running now (as of 28th Aug). You may email me at myemail@michael-yap.com.

The web server was up and running now,  Apache can served both PHP, CGI-Exec and Microsoft ASPX (in .NET 2.0 Framework thanks to project MONO!)  and also host SSL secured-websites(https).

As of this date the server is now hosting 7 websites.
